Gender Training !

There are few things in society which are always better not to take note of. They are few thing which should need proper attention. Further are special kind of things which trouble you a lot if note them. I do not mean to write something poetic but only expressing what it feels to me regarding few issues. Yes, I am trying to focus on Gender. Gender is the third kind of SPECIAL catagory i am trying to mention. Its always easy to work for solutions to a given problem, only when its accepted as a problem. In India, like many other countries, Gender discremination is socially deep rooted and its some times a tough job to define how its really troubling many among us !

Last week I attended a training on Gender. This is yet another opportunity to realise the scope for social worker's intervention. Its a kind of refresher for me, as I already attended a similar training before. I always extend my scope of participation to initiatives basing on the learnings of the training program. I am motivated with the training and strongly feel that a campaign can be organised on Gender. Keeping in veiw of my limitations, I think its good to launch at the Hyderabad city.

The campaign could simply mean collecting consensus from the peer group for a need to express solidarity towards the issue !
